Harmony Grace Singing School
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. - Col 3:16

The next session of Harmony Grace Singing School is scheduled for 6/25/2018 through 6/28/2018!

Purpose and Plan of the Singing School
The purpose of the singing school is to teach young people how to sing the various parts of music by shape notes. Most students are pleasantly surprised at how much they learn in only a single week. Young men can be singing bass or tenor to most hymns by the end of the week, and girls can as easily learn alto or tenor. The music produced by the group is beautiful and inspiring. The singing school is a joyous time of fellowship and praise for both youth an adults. Students are divided into three classes: small children (non-readers), elementary (usually 7-11) and older children/adults. The singing school lasts four days with three sessions per day. These are at 10:00am, 1:30pm and 7:00pm. The evening session tends to be a review on the day, so it is accommodative to those who can attend only at night. All singing is acappella and uses traditional hymns. Lunch and supper are served each day at 12:00 and 6:00pm. There are no fees, but contributions are appreciated.
